HVAC, Clean and dry room engineering

AESC is currently seeking a highly skilled Construction HVAC Design Engineer (with C&D experience) for a significant Engineering-Procurement-Construction project. This project involves the development of large-scale production lines that have never been built before, aiming to achieve cell production volume at an unprecedented scale. Key activities:
- Performs engineering tasks for the design of utilities and HVAC dry systems for high technology facilities including cleanrooms, general manufacturing/process facilities and institutional facilities
- Prepares mechanical engineering calculations in support of HVAC systems designs including heat load calculations, duct sizing, chilled water hydraulics, static pressure calculations, equipment sizing and selection
- Collect, coordinate and structure the Clean and Dry Room design requirements from the factory users, amongst all teams and engineering disciplines.
- Ensure coordination between internal/external stakeholders and design consultants and compliance with environmental requirements.
- Preparation and review of concept and basic design within the Clean and Dry Room discipline.
- Supports project on-site execution and make decisions to support projects and act as technical consultant
- Assists in developing studies and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by discipline team
- Works closely with the project team and other disciplines as well as other design offices
- Provide insight to the program on Clean room design requirements
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Have at least 7 years of experience working for global leading companies in supervising and managing the construction of large industrial projects ($100m+ capex)
- Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Engineering for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing scopes
- 3+ years working experience in clean room production
- Very good knowledge in HVAC systems with focus on clean room technology
- Knowledge of ISO14644
- Understanding of the potential implications of design changes/site instructions in relation to the key aspects identified above.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, and presentation skills are a must
- Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with challenging timelines, budget and goals
- Be capable of working in a close, multi-faceted team environment.
- Have an inquisitive and open attitude to exploring new ideas and willingness to continuously learn
- Ability to train and mentor colleagues on best practices for project management and execution
